Because it's there.

Enjoy the pinnacle of great winemaking with this premium case from high altitude environments.

The very best wines require harsh conditions to achieve their potential. It’s called ‘stressing the vine’ and it’s critical to producing wine with soul.

The rich UV light encourages a thicker skin that retains the flavour inside the grape, while the winds clear off mould and disease.

Cooler temperatures also retain the grapes’ natural acidity for richer extraction during skin soaking. And the later harvest provides extra time to ripen the tannins.

The result is the cleanest expression of great wine you’ll find anywhere.

What to expect each month

Two white and four red!

As the seasons change, the selection changes, but here are some examples of what we've put in recently:

Scacciadiavoli Montefalco Sagrantino, 2016, Umbria, Italy

Big, bold and exuberant, lip-smacking and spicy red Scacciadiavoli beast. Spectacular!

Score: 92/100, Winegrower who loves their vineyard, Sustainable

Senorio Amezola Reserva Rioja 2014

This is what wine is meant to be. An epic and expressive bouquet and a mouth full of black fruits and chocolate. It’s a full bodied and never understated red.

Fuitiere Cooperative d'Arbois ‘Béthanie’ Chardonnay/Savagnin ‘Demi-Sous Voile’ 2016 Jura France

A beautiful, impressively complex, and remarkably precise Jura white made in the traditional oxidative style.

Clos du Val Carneros Chardonnay, 2017, Napa Valley, California

Showing off a beautiful pale straw colour, this Estate Chardonnay leads with aromas of bread dough, cotton candy, linen, and jasmine flower.

Domaine Heresztyn-Mazzini Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2018 France

The Pinot Noir is all class. It prioritises savoury characters over fruitiness. But it comes through on the finish with lovely, sweet red cherry and plum skins.

Barolo Bussi Dardi Le Rose Poderi Colla, 2016, Piemonte, Italy

Ripe and savoury nose with dried fruits, plum and spicy characters.
